immune system
• in a chromium release assay of YAC-1 tumor target cells, DX5+ NK cells from the spleen have a 60% reduction in killing of target cells
• NK activity is increased by IL2 stimulation but not to the same level as wild-type mice
• in freshly isolated NK cells after co-culture with YAC-1 cells
• NK cells cultured in IL2 for 3 days before co-culture with YAC-1 cells produce a great deal less IFN-gamma

neoplasm
• a greater incidence and larger size of lung metastasis in a B16 melanoma injection model
• larger tumor nodules in a B16 melanoma injection model

hematopoietic system
• in a chromium release assay of YAC-1 tumor target cells, DX5+ NK cells from the spleen have a 60% reduction in killing of target cells
• NK activity is increased by IL2 stimulation but not to the same level as wild-type mice
