Psoriasis-like skin disease in Tg(CYP1A1-PPARD)#Jfoe/0 mice 20 days after GW501516 administration

immune system
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit expansion of Th17 cells unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• however, injection of anti-IL12/23p40 and to a lesser extent anti-TNFalpha suppresses expansion of Th17 cells and reduces skin disease severity
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit skin inflammation with abundant lymphocytes and Th17 cells in the epidermis unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• however, injection of anti-IL12/23p40 and to a lesser extent anti-TNFalpha suppresses expansion of Th17 cells and reduces skin disease severity

hematopoietic system
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit expansion of Th17 cells unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• however, injection of anti-IL12/23p40 and to a lesser extent anti-TNFalpha suppresses expansion of Th17 cells and reduces skin disease severity

integument

• indole-3-carbinole (I3C)-treated mice have a normal skin phenotype
• in GW501516-treated mice
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit skin inflammation with abundant lymphocytes and Th17 cells in the epidermis unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• however, injection of anti-IL12/23p40 and to a lesser extent anti-TNFalpha suppresses expansion of Th17 cells and reduces skin disease severity
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit hair loss particularly in regions of mechanical friction unlike in wild-type mice
• topical application of I3C and GW501516 exhibit skin diseases
• however, injection of anti-IL12/23p40 and to a lesser extent anti-TNFalpha suppresses expansion of Th17 cells and reduces skin disease severity
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit dilated dermal vessels unlike in wild-type mice
• in GW501516-treated mice
• in GW501516-treated mice
• GW501516-treated mice exhibit scaling, inflammation, and skin thickening unlike in similarly treated wild-type mice
• in GW501516-treated mice
• in some GW501516-treated mice
• in GW501516-treated mice

cellular
