• although lytic activity of NK cells is normal, fewer granzyme B positive NK cells are found after treatment with interleukin 15
• there is an increase in interferon gamma positive NK cells compared with controls after treatment with interleukin 12 plus 18, or anti-NK1.1 antibodies, and there is a significant increase in interferon gamma secretion by NK cells treated with anti-Ly49H antibodies for 6 hours
