immune system
• skin intra epidermal gamma/delta T lymphocytes are generated normally
• migration into the epidermis is impaired
• 2.2 fold reduction in levels in the epidermis at 2-3 days of age
• epidermal deficit continues in older mice but is less severe
• abnormal dendritic morphology
• cell levels in the dermis are 3 times higher

• adult mice show no significant differences in the percentages of CCR10(EGFP)+ Treg or other T cell subsets (CD4+, CD8+, and gamma-delta T cells) in skin relative to controls, indicating normal establishment of CCR10+ lymphocytes in adult skin

immune system
• mice show impaired establishment and dysregulated localization of CCR10+ lymphocytes in the skin
• numbers of alpha-beta T cells and percentages of CCR10(EGFP)+ Treg cells, alpha-beta T cells, gamma-delta T cells, and innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) are significantly lower in the skin at 2 weeks of age
• similarly, numbers of alpha-beta T cells and percentages of CCR10(EGFP)+ Treg cells, CD8+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, gamma-delta T cells, and ILCs, are significantly lower in the skin of adult mice
• numbers of CCR10(EGFP)+ CD4+ T cells and CD8+ T cells are significantly reduced in adult skin
• adult mice show a lower percentage of CCR10(EGFP)+ ILCs and T cells localized close to/on the skin hair follicles but a higher percentage localized below hair follicles
• percentages of CCR10(EGFP)+ CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, and ILCs are significantly increased in the blood and spleen of adult mice, suggesting that CCR10+ lymphocytes do not effectively migrate into the skin and instead continue to circulate in the blood and accumulate in the spleen
• percentages of CCR10(EGFP)+ CD4+ and CD8+ alpha-beta T cells are significantly increased in the lungs and uteri of adult mice, whereas frequencies of CCR10(EGFP)+ ILCs and gamma-delta T cells are mildly increased or unchanged in these mucosal tissues
• however, total numbers of skin gamma-delta T cells and ILCs as well as the percentage of CCR10(EGFP)+ gamma-delta T cells in the blood and spleen are not significantly altered
• adult mice show a small (<5%) increase in the percentage of IL-10-expressing skin CD4+ T cells relative to controls
• however, no significant differences are noted in the production of IL-17A or IFN-gamma by total or CCR10(EGFP)+ skin ILCs, CD8 +, CD4+, and gamma-delta T cells
• some mice show visible signs of spontaneous uterus inflammation

reproductive system
• uteri show a significant increase in the percentages of CCR10(EGFP)+ CD4+ and CD8+ alpha-beta T cells along with an increase in the absolute number of CD45+ immune cells, indicating immune dysregulation in uterine tissue
• some mice show visible signs of spontaneous uterus inflammation
