• before 16 weeks of age, mice lack or exhibit a decrease in barbering and whisker trimming behaviors compared with wild-type mice

• mice are slow swimmers compared with wild-type mice

• distance traveled within the first 10 minutes is increased compared with wild-type mice
• however, no significant difference in activity is recorded in the second and third 10 minute period

• male mice spend less time sniffing the anogenital area of other male mice compared with wild-type mice

• male mice do not display aggressive attacks unlike wild-type mice
