reproductive system
• the number of primary follicles is increased (double at day 8.5 and 1.5-fold at 42 days) compared to in wild-type mice
• however, the number of primary follicles is normal at 100 days and later
• only at day 8.5, mice exhibit increased secondary follicles compared with wild-type mice
• at 100 and 250 days, mice exhibit fewer antral follicles compared with wild-type mice
• however, follicle numbers are normal by 400 days
• more atretic secondary follicles are observed at 42 and 250 days
• mice exhibit a more rapid depletion of primordial follicle pool compared with wild-type mice
• 3 of 7 female mice cease reproducing at day 210 compared with wild-type mice that continue to reproduce until at least 270 days

mortality/aging
• 3 of 7 female mice cease reproducing at day 210 compared with wild-type mice that continue to reproduce until at least 270 days
