Liver fibrosis in Stab1tm1.1Cger/Stab1tm1.1Cger Stab2tm1.1Cger/Stab2tm1.1Cger mice

mortality/aging
• mean survival is 415 days

renal/urinary system
• moderately elevated at 3 and 6 months
• highly elevated at 18 months
• mice exhibit collagen deposits and glomerular fibrosis unlike wild-type mice
• however, fibrosis is rescued by transplanting kidney into wild-type mice
• at 18 months, renal glomeruli are enlarged compared to in wild-type mice
• albuminuria suggests impaired glomerular filter function compared to in wild-type mice

liver/biliary system
• perisinusoidal
• hepatic blood clearance of hyaluronan and Gdf15 is impaired compared to in wild-type mice

homeostasis/metabolism
• moderately elevated at 3 and 6 months
• highly elevated at 18 months

cardiovascular system
N
• mice do not exhibit signs of cardiac disease

• incipient to overt with or without heart failure and pulmonary congestion
• in some mice
