Urothelial carcinoma in situ in Tg(Upk2-TAg)1Rkl/0 mice

neoplasm
• tumors develop prominent vasculature
• tumors exhibit hypoxia
• however, pericyte coverage is normal
• one mouse exhibited lamina propria invasion
• all mice develop bladder urothelial carcinoma in situ
• male mice develop higher bladder weight due to higher tumor burden compared with female mice
• a flat growth with large and pleomorphic nuclei and frequent mitoses

renal/urinary system
• all mice develop bladder urothelial carcinoma in situ
• male mice develop higher bladder weight due to higher tumor burden compared with female mice
• a flat growth with large and pleomorphic nuclei and frequent mitoses
• male mice develop higher bladder weight due to higher tumor burden compared with female mice

homeostasis/metabolism
• tumors exhibit hypoxia
