Find Mice Using the International Mouse Strain Resource (IMSR)
Mouse lines carrying:
Padi4tm1.1Ywan mutation (0 available); any Padi4 mutation (41 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
mortality/aging
• homozygous mice were born at a lower rate than predicted by the Mendelian ratio
• however, viable homozygous mice survived to adulthood and demonstrated no detectable physical abnormality

immune system
• endogenous histone H3 citrullination was note detected in neutrophils from homozygous mutant mice neutrophils
• NET formation or H3 cirtullination was not induced after LPS treatment or the pathogenic bacteria strain S. flexneri infection of homozygous mutant mice neutrophils
• number and morphology of neutrophil are not affected
• mutant neutrophils have a decreased ability in killing bacteria in vitro
• mutant mice are more susceptible to infection by M1 GAS or M1-delta-Sda1 GAS bacteria

hematopoietic system
