• the most common non-hemolyphoid site of tumor occurence in these transgenic mice is the liver

• tumors, primarily B-cell lymphomas, of the thymus, spleen and various lymph nodes are common in mice bearing this transgene

• >= 40% of mice with this transgene develop tumors of hematopoietic origin, the great majority B-cell lymphomas, with long (9 mo +) latency in organs of the hemolymphoid system (thymus, spleen and various lymph nodes) and the liver, and occasionally in other organs or tissues
