• homozygous animals show a gait disturbance characterized by external rotation of the hind feet with footprint analysis
• show a trend toward decreased performance on rotorod and grid-walking with increasing age compared to controls, although this difference is not statistically significant
• large variation in the performance of heterozygous animals on rotorod, gridwalking and footprint analysis with some animals appearing normal while others show decreased motor abilities in these tests
