Mouse lines carrying:
Stip1tm1.2Mamp mutation (0 available); any Stip1 mutation (37 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
mortality/aging
• fewer than expected mice are present at E3.5 and E10.5
• however, transgenic expression of Stip1 rescues lethality

cellular
• in mouse embryonic fibroblasts after 8 to 10 days in culture
• in mouse embryonic fibroblasts
• increased double-strand breaks in mouse embryonic fibroblasts after 8 to 10 days in culture

embryo
• acute inflammation in and around the placental labyrinth without infection unlike in wild-type mice

limbs/digits/tail

homeostasis/metabolism
• increased double-strand breaks in mouse embryonic fibroblasts after 8 to 10 days in culture

nervous system

immune system
• acute inflammation in and around the placental labyrinth without infection unlike in wild-type mice

mortality/aging
• following middle cerebral artery occlusion

nervous system
• following middle cerebral artery occlusion, mice exhibit increased mortality, infarct volume and decreased dexterity to removing tape on their ipsilateral ischemic side compared with wild-type mice
• however, the mice that survive stroke injury recover normally
• following middle cerebral artery occlusion
• increased double-strand breaks in astrocytes
• however, astrocytes exhibit normal proliferation and response to oxygen and glucose deprivation
