• the triceps is least effected with a 7.1% decrease in weight
• the quadriceps is most the most effected muscle with a 8.6% in weight

skeleton
• posteriorly directed homeotic transformations throughout the axial skeleton with incomplete penetrance
• partial or complete loss of one lumbar segment in approximately 12% of mice
• rarely a supernumerary rib arising from the 7th cervical vertebra is seen
• almost 90% of mice have at least 1 truncated or absent 13th rib
• over 40% of mice lack both 13th ribs
• rarely a supernumerary rib arising from the 7th cervical vertebra is seen
• partial penetrance of transformation of the 13th thoracic segment into a lumbar segment
• rarely the anterior tuberculum is shifted from C6 to C5

muscle
