• fetal vascular density is increased in the labyrinth at E18.5
• increased blood pressure in pregnant females at day 17.5
• however at day 15.5 and postpartum day 2 blood pressure is similar to controls
• in the fetal umbilical artery end-diastolic velocity and pulsatility index are significantly elevated in fetuses at E18.5
• at E18.5, some umbilical vein waveforms appear pulsatile

growth/size/body
