• mice exhibit normal numbers of naive T and B cells, lymphoid tissue organization and T or B cell trafficking
• mice exhibit normal frequencies of T reg cells in the spleen and lymph nodes
• Th17 differentiation is normal
• LysoPS-treated T cells continue to proliferate unlike wild-type cells
• however, OT-II T cells exhibit proliferation after immunization with ovalbumin in alum adjuvant
• reduced differentiation even in the absence of exogenous LysoPS
• increased frequency of Foxp3+ CD4 single positive cells in the thymus and in the colon lamina propria
• CD103- regulatory T cells more potently suppress anti-CD3 and dendritic cell-induced proliferation compared with wild-type cells
• MOG-treated mice exhibit decreased peak disease severity with elevated frequency of CD103+ T reg cells in draining lymph nodes at day 8 to 12 compared with wild-type mice
• however, disease onset is normal
