• mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) show increased oncogenic transformation capacity
• however, mice are born at the expected Mendelian ratios, with no differences in weight and no apparent phenotype
• mice show a marginal increase of megakaryocytic progenitors (MkP) in SG2M phase of the cell cycle, indicating a mild increase in proliferation

hematopoietic system
• mice show a marginal increase of megakaryocytic progenitors (MkP) in SG2M phase of the cell cycle, indicating a mild increase in proliferation
• mice show a decrease in the proportion of neutrophils in BAL following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge

• the CD4+ T cell subpopulation in BAL is decreased following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge

• however, megakaryocyte development is not affected, hematopoietic stem cells are intact in bone marrow of 1 year old mice, and mutant mice are able to fully regenerate the hematopoietic system upon bone marrow transplantation into lethally irradiated mice with a mild drop in lymphoid output only
• small decrease in frequency and absolute number of megakaryocytic progenitors in 1 year old mice

immune system
• mice show a decrease in the proportion of neutrophils in BAL following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge
• relative B cell counts are increased in BAL following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge
• the CD4+ T cell subpopulation in BAL is decreased following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge
• following ovalbumin (OVA) sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge, mice show an increase in the total cell numbers in bronchioalveolar lavages (BAL), changes in B cell counts, CD4+ T cell counts, and neutrophil numbers in BAL
• however, mice do not show differences in immunoglobulin levels following ovalbumin OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge
• slight increase in concentration of IFN-gamma is seen in BAL following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge
• slight increase in concentration of IL-2 is seen in BAL following OVA sensitization and repeated OVA airway challenge
