neoplasm
• 7 of 28 mice develop adrenal neoplasia
• 4 of 17 males develop prostate/coagulation gland neoplasia
• 5 of 20 mice show lung metastasis
• all mice develop invasive transitional cell carcinoma, a neoplasm of urinary bladder urothelial cells, by 12 weeks of age, resembling the nonpapillary form
• disease progresses from development of carcinoma insitu, stromal invasion, muscle invasion, rapid growth, and lung metastasis (in 20% of mice)
• 6 of 28 mice develop mesothelial neoplasia

mortality/aging
• all mice are sacrificed by 3 months of age due to the presence of high-grade disease

growth/size/body
• reduction in weight gain, with mice weighing about 70% of controls at 9 weeks of age
• mice show 2-fold kidney enlargement
