• evoked excitatory postsynaptic currents in granule cell layer climbing fibers is similar to controls indicating climbing fiber monoinnervation of Purkinje cells is established as in controls
• impaired glutamate clearance at parallel fiber - Purkinje cell synapses
• reduced inhibition of parallel fiber EPSC amplitude by gamma-D-glutamylglycine suggesting that the size of glutamate transient at parallel fiber - Purkinje cell synapses was significantly higher
• prolonged decay time suggesting a delay in glutamate clearance from parallel fiber - Purkinje cell synapses
