• reduced spontaneous alternation in a modified T-maze test
• however, combined expression of PSD-93 and PSD-95 rescues the phenotype
• reduced escape latency declination in a Morris water maze
• during testing, mice fail to exhibit preference for exploring a novel object over a familiar one compared with wild-type mice
• slightly in an open field without a preference for the central areas

• reduction in presynaptic marker expression, length and width
• reduced amplitude of AMPA and NMDA receptor-mediated evoked EPSC in CA1 pyramidal cells
• reduced field excitatory postsynaptic potential slopes
• however, combined expression of PSD-93 and PSD-95 rescues the phenotype
• reduced amplitude of AMPA and NMDA receptor-mediated mEPSC in CA1 pyramidal cells
• reduced frequencies of AMPA and NMDA receptor-mediated mEPSC in neurons
