• peritoneal mast cells fail to degranulate when stimulated with immune complexes
• greatly diminished phagocytosis of IgG1 opsonized sheep red blood cells
• decreased autoimmune hemolytic anemia when induced with mouse IgG2a
• lack antibody dependent NK cell mediated cytotoxicity against L1210 tumor cells
• deficient antigen presentation by bone marrow dendritic cells
• the systemic anaphylaxis response after passive sensitization with IgG2a is modified and partially inhibited and mortality is decreased after challenge
• antigen challenge results in an acute hypotensive effect compared to wild-type mice
• lack IgG dependent passive cutaneous anaphylaxis
• complement independent Arthus reaction is eliminated
