mortality/aging
• between 16 and 32 weeks some mutants (7 out of 31) die suddenly from non-diabetic causes most likely related to seizures

behavior/neurological
• seizures induced by mild stimulation are seen in mutants

growth/size/body
• after 4 weeks mild growth retardation is seen in mutants

homeostasis/metabolism
• no difference in incidence of diabetes is seen between female mutants and wild-types
