• produce low titers of sheep red blood cell antibodies after immunization compared to wild-type controls

• impairment in LPS-induce TNF response is not as severe as in mice homozygous for Myd88tm1Aki
• however, TNF levels following administration of CpG DNA are similar to controls
• cultured splenocytes and bone marrow-derived dendritic cells produce less IL6 in response to poly(I:C)
• increased susceptibility to L. monocytogenes-induced lethality compared to wild-type controls but not as susceptible as mice homozygous for Tnfrsf1atm1Mak
