endocrine/exocrine glands
• the tubules are vacuolated with inadequate tubule lumina development
• the seminiferous epithelium is disorganized
• the Sertoli cells are displaced from their normal position in homozygotes
• leydig cells occupy relatively more of the testes in homozygotes than in age-matched wild-type controls

immune system
• homozygous mice reject sex-matched skin grafts from congenic BALB/cBy mice unlike wild-type mice

reproductive system
• by 3 weeks a delay in the onset of spermatogenesis is apparent and by 5 weeks greatly reduced numbers of spermatogenic cells are seen in homozygotes
• the spermatogenic cells that are present do not progress past the meiotic spermatocyte stages
