Assay type: RNA in situ
MGI Accession ID: MGI:7664417
Gene symbol: Fgf15
Gene name: fibroblast growth factor 15
Probe: Fgf15_riboprobe2
Probe preparation: Antisense labelled with digoxigenin RNA
Visualized with: Alkaline phosphatase
Assay notes: The authors analyzed data from the Allen Developing Mouse Brain.
Results
Specimen 2g: embryonic day 11.5 (more )
Note: Sample was postfixed in 4% paraformaldehyde.
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS19: midbrain Present Non-Uniform 2g Expression was weak at the rostral half of the midbrain, but it increases gradentally caudalwards to a maximum just in front of the isthmo-mesencephalic transverse boundary at the expected locus of the m2 mesomere.

Specimen 4z: embryonic day 13.5 (more )
Note: Sample was postfixed in 4% paraformaldehyde.
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS22: midbrain Present Regionally restricted 4z Signal appeared as a positive transverse line that seemed to separate the negative preisthmic domain from the inferior colliculus domain.

Specimen 4aa: embryonic day 13.5 (more )
Note: Sample was postfixed in 4% paraformaldehyde.
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS22: midbrain Present Regionally restricted 4aa Signal appeared as a positive transverse line that seemed to separate the negative preisthmic domain from the inferior colliculus domain.
