Definition: A parasitic helminthiasis infectious disease that involves parasitic infection of the bile ducts of the liver by Clonorchis sinensis. The symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and eosinophilia. In long-standing infections, cholangitis, cholelithiasis, pancreatitis, and cholangiocarcinoma can develop.
