Definition: An anterior scleritis that is characterized by painful inflammation and tender nodule formation of the anterior sclera and has_symptom pain, red eyes, photophobia, tearing, blurry vision, and appearance of eye surface irregularity. Nodular scleritis can be caused by autoimmune diseases, connective tissue diseases, and infection.
