This syndrome comprises features from 4 histiocytic disorders that were previously considered distinct: Faisalabad histiocytosis, sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy, H syndrome, and pigmented hypertrichosis with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus syndrome.
