Glossary Term Assembly Coordinates
Definition Numerical values defining a sequence interval along a chromosome in the mouse genome assembly. In MGI, gene sequences are defined as the interval between the start position of the first exon and the end position of the last exon of a gene as annotated by NCBI Gene or Ensembl. See NCBI Gene Model and Ensembl Gene Model for further information.
