Glossary Term BAC/YAC End
Definition BAC/YAC end refers to sequences at the end of foreign DNA inserts in a BAC or YAC. These sequences are a source of STSs to determine the extent of overlap between BACs or YACs and to aid in the alignment of sequence contigs.
