Glossary Term Blastocyst
Definition A preimplantation mouse embryo consisting of 16-40 cells with a clearly apparent inner cell mass (Theiler Stage 3-4). See the Edinburgh Mouse Atlas for a table of staging criteria in mouse development, or for images of the stages.
