Glossary Term Mammalian Phenotype Ontology
Definition A controlled vocabulary that provides standardized terms for describing phenotypic characteristics of mammalian systems. See the Mammalian Phenotype Browser for more information, and see the Open Biological Ontologies (OBO) site for further information about other structured, shared vocabularies for use within biological domains.
