Glossary Term Phenotype
Definition
  1. A description of the observable state of an individual with respect to some inherited characteristic. Often, individuals with different genotypes display the same phenotype. See dominant and recessive.
  2. In MGI, the specific vocabulary of the Mammalian Phenotype Ontology.
