Left, heterozygous Mgrn1^md/+ mouse and right, homozygous Mgrn1^md/Mgrn1^md mouse. Mice homozygous for the Mgrn1^md mutation exhibit a darkened coat color on the back, ears, and tail of agouti mice. The color is similar to, but not quite as dark as mice homozygous for the \Allelesymbol(MGI:1856081|0) mutation.
