C & D: Compared with the distal femur growth plate of the 4 week old wild-type littermate (left) there is widening of the growth plate of the Arsbtm1Cptr/Arsbtm1Cptr, also the columnar arrangement of chondrocytes is lost and there are ballooned and vaculated chondrocytes across the entire extension of the growth plate. E & F: In the liver of a 4 month old Arsbtm1Cptr/Arsbtm1Cptr (right), the sinus lining cells are storing large amounts of glycosaminoglycans.
