Mtm1^tm1.1Jman/Y mice (i & iii) performing either a finger hanging (i & ii) or grid climbing test (iii & iv), compared with wild type mice (ii & iv). i: Mutant mice are unable to grasp to the finger. iii: Mutant mice fail in addition to climb on the grid. v: Mutant mouse showing signs of kyphosis, because of lesions in paravertebral muscles and hindlimb paralysis.
