Histology of skeletal muscle of Srf^tm2.1Nor/Srf^tm2.1Nor Tg(Myog-cre)1Eno/0 (Srf^flex1/flex1/Myo-Cre) mice. A: Histological sections of representative muscle groups of wild-type and mutant mice at E19.5 were stained with hematoxylin and eosin. The muscle fibers in the mutant are thinner than those of the wild-type. B: Hindlimb muscles from wild-type and mutant mice were analyzed by electron microscopy at E19.5. The muscle fibers in the mutant are disorganized and less developed than those of the wild-type. Magnifications are shown at left. Scale bars: A, 20um; B, 2um upper; 0.5um lower.
