Caption Electron microscopy of 11 day old testis. Intercellular bridges connecting germ cells are marked with arrows in A and B. C: A higher- magnification view of the inset (white box) in B clearly shows the electron-dense intercellular bridge densities of one intercellular bridge. Thirty bridges were found in ~60 min. of search time on the Tex14tm1Zuk/Tex14+ section (D). No bridges were found in 6 hours of search time on the Tex14tm1Zuk/Tex14tm1Zuk sections. ICBD, intercellular bridge density; M, mitochondrion.
