After wounding, mutant (G, I and K) or heterozygous (H, J and L) keratinocytes were cultured in serum-free medium (A and B) and treated with 20 ng/ml Tgf-alpha (I and J) or with 20 units/ml HGF/SF (K and L). Pictures were taken 2 days after wounding. The dotted line indicates the position of the initial wound.
