The suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN) of wild type (Left) mice contains few, if any, pyknotic cells with no observed lysosomal distention. Naglu^tm1Efn/Naglu^tm1Efn SCN has numerous pyknotic cells indicated with small black arrows and non-pyknotic cells with distended lysosomal inclusions indicated by large arrows. Bars indicate 10 micrometers.
