Live embryos at 10.5dpc in the mutant uteri were generally abnormal in appearance. C and F: Placentas at 10.5dpc (x40). S, spongiotrophoblast region; L, Labyrinth region. The development of labyrinth region in the mutant uterus was noted in less than 50% of those in wild type.
