Caption | The cardiac jelly of wild type embryos is rich in acidic glycosaminoglycans (blue stain in A) and hyaluronic acid (HA, brown stain in C). In contrast, Has2tm1Jam/Has2tm1Jam embryos totally lack alcian blue-stained material (B) and HA (D).
