Electron micrographs of liver cells that were processed for the cytochemical localization of peroxisomal catalase from wild-type (A) and Ehhadh^tm1Jkr/Ehhadh^tm1Jkr Hsd17b4^tm1Baes/Hsd17b4^tm1Baes mice (B) are shown. Note the paucity of diaminobenzidine-stained peroxisomes (P) in the double mutant mouse liver cells.
