Electron microscopic examination of wild-type and Dym^{Gt(GTR1.3)1Rul}/Dym^{Gt(GTR1.3)1Rul} cells. Osumium-stained sections of wild-type (+/+) and Dym^{Gt(GTR1.3)1Rul}/Dym^{Gt(GTR1.3)1Rul} (-/-) embryonic fibroblasts (Fs) and chondrocytes (Ch) showing the accumulation of vacuoles (solid arrows), electron-dense bodies (open arrows), and presumptive thickened cisternae of endoplasmic reticulum (*) in mutant cells. Well-developed Golgi (G) were less commonly observed in mutant cells.
