Three-week old mice showing significant small size of Wwox^tm1Ria/Wwox^tm1Ria (HO) mouse compared with wild-type (WT) and Wwox^tm1Ria/Wwox⁺ (HET) mice. B: Growth curves of wild-type, heterozygous and mutant mice. Newborn pups were weighed every day from day 1. Mice were then genotyped, and weights were plotted on growth curve. The weights of mutant mice diverge after day 3 from that of the wild-type and heterozygous mice. C: Radiography of femurs of 3 week old mice showing smaller but also less dense bone of the mutant mouse. D: Alizarin red/Alcian blue staining of newborn skeletons.
