A: Normal spermatogenesis in control mice. B: Some tubules in mutant mice showed abnormal spermatogenesis while others appeared normal. Arrow 1 indicates fused spermatogenic cells with more than one nucleus; arrow 2 shows a degenerating seminiferous tubule.
