Caption Histological changes in the spleen of Sirpatm1Nog/Sirpatm1Nog mice. The spleen was removed from 11-week old wild-type (+/+, left panels) or Sirpatm1Nog/Sirpatm1Nog (-/-, right panels) mice, fixed, and stained with Mayer's hematoxylin-eosin. Sections were examined with a light microscope equipped with phase-contrast optics, and megakaryocytes are indicated by arrowheads. Data are representative of three independent experiments. Original magnification: x100 (upper panels) or x400 (lower panels).
