Phenotypic comparison of wild-type, Aip^tm1Bra/Aip⁺ and Aip^tm1Bra/Aip^tm1Bra littermates at embryonic days 14.5-15, or 18.5-19. Wild-type (+/+, top), Aip^tm1Bra/Aip⁺ (+/-, middle), and Aip^tm1Bra/Aip^tm1Bra (-/-, bottom). Homozygous mutant mice appear paler than counterparts and display a decreased caliber of vessels in the head (as indicated by red arrows), forelimbs, and hind limbs.
