Fibroblast-specific deletion of Klf5 attenuates cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis after transverse aortic constriction in Klf5^tm2.1Rng/Klf5^tm2.1Rng Tg(Postn-cre)1Sjc/0 mice. Klf5^tm2.1Rng/Klf5^tm2.1Rng (Klf5^fl/fl), and Klf5^tm2.1Rng/Klf5^tm2.1Rng Tg(Postn-cre)1Sjc/0 (Klf5^fl/fl; Postn-Cre) mice were subjected to low-intensity transverse aortic constriction (LI-TAC) or sham operation.
