Impaired hair growth and skin development of Abhd5^tm1.1Rze/Abhd5^tm1.1Rze (Cgi-58-/-) skins grafted onto nude mice. A and B, wild-type and homozygous mutant skins were grafted onto nude mice and photographed after 3 weeks (A) or sections of grafted skin were stained with antibodies specific for cytokeratin 14 (CK14) or cytokeratin 6 (CK6) and analyzed by light microscopy (B). Scale bars represent 500 um. Results are representative for four independent transplantation experiments.
