(B-D) small arrows: roof plate, arrowhead: notochord, white arrows: ventral spinal cord corresponding to the region containing floor plate and motor neurons, large arrows: floor plate in hindbrain and midbrain, asterisks: dorsal edges of metencephalon and mylencephalon, double parallel arrows: eye, dual arrowhead: flank tissue between limbs. (E) Expression is clear in the interdigital apoptotic regions of the limbs and in the presumptive ear canal (small arrow). (G-I) White arrows: ventral spinal cord corresponding to the region containing floor plate and motor neurons, e: ear, f: fore limb, h: hind limb, b: branchial arch, v: vibrissae. (H,I) Expression in developing atrium (H, arrowhead) and in somites (arrowsheads). Some ventricular probe trapping was seen in forebrain of B-E and H.
